About the Author

Melody Swenson is a graduate of Barnum High School and Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. She has strong ties to Carlton County, as her great-grandfather homesteaded in Automba Township in 1892. Melody has written numerous articles on subjects
ranging from Finnish history to fishing. This is her first book and it combines her interest in sports and history. She hopes you enjoy Champions of Carlton County-State Tournament Teams!
